Susan Pendo

Susan was a highly ranked junior player from Southern California, recruited and played for USC and competed professionally. She was the head tennis professional at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades for 10 years before moving to Braemar Country Club. Susan is a USTA High Performance Coach, 10 and under Tennis Coach, Youth Tennis Coach and USPTA Elite Professional.

Tim Schnaible

Tim brings to the court over 30 years of playing and coaching experience. He has personally coached hundreds of sectionally and nationally ranked juniors including winners at Kalamazoo, Easter Bowl and Winter Supernationals. Tim was the exclusive coach to ATP Top-20 Pro Sam Querrey from the ages of 10-16 years old and was recently featured on the Tennis Channel's Sam Querrey - Tennisography.

Caesar Schwarz

Before becoming Tennis Director At Mulholland Tennis Club, Caesar was one of the top players in Western Australia and Australia. He began his Coaching Career working for the Australian Tennis Greats John Newcombe and Tony Roche. Then he worked for Cliff Drysdale in Florida. He has coached juniors ranked in the top 10 nationally and been a hitting partner for ATP and WTA tour players in the top 50 in the world.

Ron Hightower
Hightower Tennis
Ron Hightower was a two-time All-American at the University of Arkansas and was inducted in 2006 to the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame. Ron has coached numerous ATP and WTA players for the past 30 years. He also coached the U.S. Jr. Davis Cup Team in 1985-86. Currently, he is coaching daily at his HT Academy in Woodland Hills. A consultant for tennis professionals and academies in the U.S., Ron is also an International Advisor for Solinco Sports and hosts numerous tennis play days, and community projects.

Claude Confort

Claude started his teaching career in 1990 at the Tennis Club de Monaco. From 1992 to 1994 he worked at the famed Nick Bolletieri Tennis Academy both in Florida and Spain. Besides having produced some of the best junior and college players in the country, Claude is an accomplished Tennis Coach with over 20 years experience at the professional level, both helping ATP/WTA players achieve their goals as well as nationally and regionally ranked juniors.

Ben Brunkow

Director of Tennis at Toluca Lake Tennis and Fitness Club, Ben is a two-time U.S.T.A. National Champion. He has been at the Club for over 15 years and has been teaching tennis for over 33. He shares his passion for the sport with a wide range of activities: Lessons, Game Arranging, Tournaments, Charity Events, Team Tennis, Junior Camps and Competitions, Tennis Vacations and more. His happiest moments on-court are playing Father-Son doubles.

Steve Tscherne
NJTP
Steve is President of the Neighborhood Junior Tennis Program (NJTP), and also a coach for 25+ years after playing college and tournament tennis. He has attended five USPTA world conferences, as well as the National Teachers Conference in New York. Steve works directly with the Riviera Foundation, and is responsible for NJTP's quarterly lightning tournaments and leagues.

Los Angeles Tennis Club Head Pro Jerome Peri played junior tennis as well as team events throughout his native France - getting a second series ranking by age 15. At the club since 1989, Jerome oversees the tennis program, surrounded by the best team of professionals in SoCal!

James Ciuffo

James was named the USPTA California College Coach of the Year at the recent USPTA Southern California Convention in early February. James Ciuffo is assistant coach of the Cal State University, Northridge Women's Tennis program. In his 18th season as the assistant for the Matadors, Ciuffo was recognized for his dedication to the game at the collegiate level. Ciuffo has been instrumental in the development of numerous All-Big West players in both singles and doubles action.
